- I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 30 years
I have had celiac symptons (without realizing what it was) for over 5 years.
I have one brother that also has cd; so far the other two and one sister haven't shown symptoms.
My father-in-law has it also--which means my kids have it coming from both sides

Most people live with many symptoms for up to 11 years before being properly diagnosed with food allergies, or food intolerance. We refer to these food challenges as "foodstuffs" because there are so many symptoms caused by the foods we eat.
The reason they go so long without proper diagnosis is because they continue to visit their family doc for the same symptoms and take meds for the wrong all the wrong reasons.
I have several sisters and one brother. We all experience the same symptoms when we eat certain foods. This is because it is genetic, which is true when you say that your father-in-law also has it and yes your kids have it coming from both sides.
Do you and your family know of a liable Board Certified Allergist? One whose speciality is in food allergies?
My partner teaches cooking classes at Sun Harvest Market (Callaghan location) every Saturday through Sept 27, from 2:00PM - 4:30 PM for people with food allergies.
Outside of plating delicious, healthy, nutritious wheat, gluten, and dairy free meals, he also plates many more allergen free and safe meals that the entire family will enjoy.
If you want additional information on these classes please let me know and yes I do know of a fantastic allergist and a licensed dietitian whose speciality is also in food allergies. Dietitians curriculum does not include the study and research of food allergies. There are only 2 or 3 dietitians here in San Antonio who speicalize in food allergies.
